Logistics People are recruiting on behalf of White Horse Bar & Restaurant, East Runton.

Position: Front of House Duty Manager 

Location: White Horse Bar & Restaurant, East Runton, Cromer

Working Hours: 

  • ((EITHER)) SHIFT ONE: 4 on 4 off 11:00 - 23:00 or SHIFT 2: Friday & Saturday 17:00 - closing / Sunday 12:00 - 19:00 

Pay rate: £35,000 Per Annum - plus bonuses

As a Front of House Duty Manager, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by ensuring our Front of House staff deliver an excellent hosting service in our Bar & Restaurant area. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and friendly service to ensure an enjoyable and seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Training and developing staff members’ skillsets.
  • Maintain a clean and organised Front of House area, upholding strict adherence to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, and manage staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Responsible for the management of opening and/or closing procedures, and may be a key-holder.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the bar and restaurant by actively participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and promotional events.
  • Organising staff shifts and scheduling of rotas.
  • Managing the training and operation of a till system, and responsible to register closures.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a bar or restaurant setting, with demonstrated knowledge of Management and service industry techniques.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a hands-on Manager, and is ready to get throw themselves into ever endeavour.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
