Our client, a pioneering name in automotive camshaft and crankshaft processing systems, are looking for a talented and detail-oriented SAP Production Planner (Super User) to join their dynamic team and play a critical role in enhancing production processes and optimizing business outcomes.


You will play a pivotal role in company production operations, ensuring seamless planning, scheduling, and coordination through SAP (ECC 6.0 or HANA). You’ll be the key figure ensuring that all manufactured parts are delivered on time to meet assembly, aftermarket, spares, and subcontract needs. Your data-driven insights and planning expertise will be instrumental in supporting our frontline production teams and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage SAP to extract and analyse live data, continuously improving Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reports that drive crucial KPIs.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyse datasets, creating comprehensive and accessible reports for stakeholders.
  • Generate weekly production plans using SAP/Excel and manage materials, planned orders, and resources to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor SAP transactional data to ensure alignment with production schedules and commitments.
  • Develop and maintain Master Data within the SAP Planning module in collaboration with the FLL SAP Analyst.
  • Ensure accurate capacity planning by working closely with the machine shop to optimize resources and production cycles.
  • Provide up-to-date completion dates and coordinate overcapacity actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as a SAP ‘Super User’ by supporting critical development projects and advancing SAP improvement initiatives.

About You:

  • Substantial experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and/or HANA, specializing in Production Planning (PP); familiarity with Project Systems (PS) is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel Skills, including expertise with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and present it clearly to key stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of reports.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and critical thinking, particularly in optimizing processes and addressing production challenges.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey data-driven insights in a user-friendly manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with S&OP processes and how they inform wider business decisions.
  • A team player who can also work independently, thriving in both collaborative and autonomous environments.
