Inside Sales Engineer

Salary between £37,500 and £40,000 per annum + Benefits

Cross Hills, BD20 – Office based

Do you want to be part of a dynamic team that works on cutting-edge products and services? If yes, then we have an amazing opportunity for you! We are seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our thriving Brooksbank Valves sales team in Cross Hills.   This is an office-based role.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Preparing and following up on quotations for MRO / Projects.
  • Participate in contract reviews as and when required to ensure all technical and commercial aspects of the order are agreed, understood, and accepted and are in line with the quotation issued.
  • Managing the customer base, seeking new opportunities for the company products with direct customer contact
  • Maintain the CRM system. 
  • Attend internal client kick-off meetings when required.
  • Identify selling opportunities and solicit enquiries from interested parties.
  • Work closely with the Project Administration team from the first bid stage onwards.
  • Review customer general terms and conditions and raise awareness where required.

What we are offering:

  • Annual salary between £37,500 and £40,000 per annum
  • Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including bank holidays.
  • Pension Scheme: 8% Combined contribution (4% matched).
  • Working Hours: 36½ hours per week Monday to Friday, with a flexi time system and an early finish on Friday.  This is a full-time office-based role.

About you:  We are looking for a confident, communicative individual to support our sales process:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or experience within the valve industry or valves, pumps and/or associated systems (Preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent time management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.  Previously experience of Salesforce CRM would be an advantage.
  • Experience in MRO / Projects
    Great communication skills across different levels and disciplines of the business.
  • The ability to oversee detailed administrative tasks and maintain high levels of organisation.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a flexible and proactive approach to work

All postholders must pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), essentially no unspent criminal convictions, permanent UK residential address and be a British Citizen.
