Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contractors and subcontractors on a dedicated site in Dunfermline. The ideal candidate will have a background in Facilities Management (FM) and a proven track record in managing on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth coordination of all M&E contractors and subcontractors.

  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.

  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and management teams.

  • Oversee quality control and ensure all installations and maintenance activities meet the required standards.

  • Manage and report on project progress, providing updates to senior management.

  • Implement and uphold best practices in Facilities Management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within M&E or construction environments.

  • Strong background in Facilities Management is preferred.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, M&E Engineering, or a related field are desirable.
