Location: Crowborough, East Sussex (with travel to London & South East).
Salary: 26,000 - 30,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent / 37.5 hours + Overtime
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will carry out commissioning, fault investigation, and maintenance of safety systems at customer sites around the UK (Mainly London). The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning of Communication Safety Systems - Ensure systems are installed, configured, and tested to meet operational and compliance standards.
- On-Site Installation & System Modifications - Implement changes and improvements as required.
- Routine Maintenance - Conduct scheduled servicing of safety systems to ensure reliability.
- Fault Finding & Repairs - Diagnose and rectify system faults efficiently at customer sites.
- Travel & Site Work - Work primarily in London and the South East, with occasional travel further afield (overnight stays may be required).
- Documentation & Compliance - Complete relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential Attributes:
- Self-motivated, confident, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
Desirable Attributes:
- Previous experience commissioning PA/VA and/or Fire Systems.
- Knowledge of relevant British Standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Holds a current ECS Card or willing to undertake training.
- High attention to detail when completing documentation.
The Package:
- Salary: 26,000 - 30,000 (depending on experience).

- Working Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday).
- Overtime Paid for hours exceeding 37.5 per week. (evenings bank holidays and weekends)
