Term Time Teachers are working with a wonderful setting, who are currently looking for someone to join their team on a full-time or part-time basis. Hours can be discussed at point of interview.

A working day at a nursery will vary to your hours but typical duties include:

Providing a safe and always stimulating environment.

Delivering an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.

To help ensure the nursery meets all OFSTED requirements.

To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes. Strive for Continuous Improvements.

Adhering to Policies & Procedures & compliance with the Children Act, Health & Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted.

About You

You must hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare (Early years)

Minimum 1 year experience within childcare is preferred but not essential.

Have a passion for the education sector

Be fun, approachable and creative

Willing to continue your training and take additional courses.

Happy to take on Key children and track their development

Have good attention to detail and a calming nature in stressful situations.

A working day at a nursery will vary to your hours but might include:

  • Greeting parents and welcoming young children into the nursery environment and helping settle them
  • Setting up and clearing away activities. Organising activities in an indoor/outdoor setting
  • Ensuring children are safe and having fun within their learning
  • Working closely with other staff
  • Working with different age groups from babies up to Pre-School
