Reed HR have partnered with a global systems company based in Crowborough who are seeking an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to join their team. This is a permanent role reporting into the Compliance Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance requirements across Europe
  • Ensure the delivery of ESG reporting requirements.
  • Maintain awareness and implementation of updated legislation
  • Collecting, assessing, analysing and reporting the environmental and emissions performance data 
  • Track progress on sustainability targets and provide updates on sustainability initiatives.
  • Conducting audits both internally and for the wider supply chain
  • Engage with suppliers to create collaborations on reducing emissions.
  • Adopting a proactive approach to improving performance and promoting sustainability to all staff
  • Development of sustainability and environmental training for all staff
  • Preparing and delivering training to the Leadership and colleagues on environmental issues, driving change and changing thinking
  • Supporting the preparation of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certification audits.

Job Skills Requirements: 

  • Associate Membership of IEMA (AIEMA), (willing to work towards) Practitioner Membership
  • Proven experience in a similar environmental position.
  • Capable of assisting with or undertaking environmental audits
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation across Europe and best practice governing environmental management and reporting.
  • Confident delivery training and presentations to a varied audience
  • Full driving licence to meet the travel requirements of the role.
