Role: Manufacturing Administrator

Location: East Sussex, Crowborough

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum + annual profit bonus

Benefits: 20days holiday + Bank holidays (additional days with length of service), + 1 celebration day. Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Life Insurance, Parking, Social events and office perks with a xmas office closure!

Hours: Monday - Friday - On Site - 37.5hours a week (730/4pm 8/430pm 830/5pm) and early finish at 1pm on Fridays.

Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Administrator to join their team. As a Manufacturing Administrator, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and play a key role in supporting various manufacturing processes, working within a supportive and forward thinking team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manufacturing Manager with daily and weekly administrative tasks to support the department
  • Cost bespoke special products
  • Handle Engineering Change Requests in relation to manufacturing office requirements
  • Utilise MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system effectively
  • Manage purchasing administration
  • Provide holiday cover for the Manufacturing Manager
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks as they arise, offering valuable support to the manufacturing team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing processes and administration or a similar role
  • Proficiency in using MRP/ERP systems
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office suite
  • Working knowledge of Access Supply Chain is desirable but not essential
  • Friendly and approachable personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Proactive and keen on identifying and adopting best working practises
  • Strong attention to detail
