Job Description:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join our team for a 2-term assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our Reception pupils, fostering their development in a supportive and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and development.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
