The school that we partner with are looking for a Teacher who can support a small class of KS4 pupils with a range of Profound, Severe and Moderate Learning Difficulties as well as ASD and Sensory Needs.
The role is split with 2 days teaching and up to 2 extra days to plan lessons.
As a SEN Teacher, your responsibilities include:
- Provide a safe, supportive and nurturing classroom environment
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and activities suitable to the class needs/level.
- Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles.
- Track and monitor student progression
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Work as part of a small and organised team
The right candidate MUST have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- At least 1 Year of Teaching Experience (Preferably within a SEN Setting)
