- Install and commission PVD and vacuum coating systems at customer locations.
- Conduct acceptance testing to ensure systems meet operational requirements.
- Provide operator training to technicians and engineers.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on deposition systems.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
- Replace or repair faulty components.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support.
- Troubleshoot vacuum, electrical, and process-related issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve system reliability and performance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with a focus on service and support.
- Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally when required.
- Electrical engineering experience.
- Experience with PLC control systems and software interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with PVD or similar deposition equipment.
- Familiarity with high-vacuum systems, cryogenic pumps, and RF power supplies.
- Knowledge of thin film deposition processes (e.g., sputtering, evaporation, PECVD).
