On behalf of a purpose-built luxury Care Home in Crowthorne we are recruiting for Senior Care Assistants for Days and Nights to join their growing care team.

This is a beautiful, state of the art Residential Care Home specialising in elderly and dementia care. They are a part of a long-established charity that operates a number of Nursing and Residential Care Homes across the UK and can offer fantastic opportunities for progression and personal development.

As a Senior Carer you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership to the rest of the care team.

The Care Home are seeking dedicated Senior Care Assistants or Senior Support Workers (preferably with previous care home experience) to join their care team on permanent contracts as with increasing resident numbers their staffing levels are also increasing.

They have both full and part time, permanent positions available on both Days and Nights. The starting pay is a fantastic 15.21 per hour with paid breaks. (Increasing in April)

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is preferred and candidates will need to be medication trained.

Senior Care Assistant Key Duties:

  • To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents, ensuring this is person-centred to the highest possible standards
  • To provide leadership and support to the care assistants
  • Administer medication
  • Update and review care plans
  • Shift leading
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals and families
