Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Night Care Assistant at St Brendan's care Home, Crowthorne!
Hours:36 Hours (alternate weekends)

Responsibilities as a Senior Night Care Assistant:
Shift Accountability:- Conduct a walking handover, ensuring all residents are accounted for at the start and end of the shift.
- Ensure staff contribute to the efficient running of the home, creating the right atmosphere, and leading by example.
- Support the training and development of all staff.
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the in-house training program to a high standard.
- Support residents with all aspects of personal care while promoting independence.
- Ensure the home is safe and secure.
- Conduct regular checks throughout the night for each resident's individual needs.
- Ensure all night documentation is completed and signed for.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all records required to be kept by CQC.
Essential Attributes:
- Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff.
- Effective communication and interaction skills.
