We are recruiting a team of PAs on behalf of our client, a 22-Year-old wheelchair user with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2. He is looking for a team of compassionate PAs to enable him to be as independent as possible.
Location:Crowthorne,Berkshire
Shift Pattern: Between 3 and 4 shifts per week with additional hours
Hours: 11.00am 11.00PM
Rate of Pay & Benefits:
Start: ASAP
Pay: £16 per hour = £192 per shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks annual leave, pro rata.
About Our Client:
Our client has Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2 and will require support with certain aspects of life such as personal care, medication, administration, commuting to appointments and general social support. Day-to-day duties will vary however you will receive training in all aspects of his care/equipment. As a PA, we are looking for someone proactive, organised and able to follow instructions given by the client.
Our client loves gaming and watching YouTube videos in his spare time. He has a huge passion for the Star Wars Franchise and Marvel films. Previously he has attended Comic cons in the UK and would enjoy doing similar events. Our client is looking for a supportive individual, who will encourage him to try new sports and events to enrich his life.

Duties Would include:
- Providing comprehensive support in daily activities, both at home and during outings
- Offering personal care assistance
- Assisting during social outings
- Assistance with organising
- Accompanying the client to medical appointments
- Support with housekeeping
Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills- Open minded
- Good organisation skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative
- Be clean and tidy, both in appearance and ways
- Ideally be independent, but also reliable and trustworthy when necessary.
- Full Clean Driving Licence, as you will be required to drive the clients adapted van
- Non-Smoker
- Physically fit, calm & patient
- Respectful
- Comfortable with pets, as the client has a small dog
- Being able to use own initiative
