- Use CAD software (Autodesk Fusion 360) to design components and equipment.
- Liaise with customers to understand project requirements and create detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Bring your designs to life by assembling components and performing light fabrication tasks, such as cutting, drilling, and bending materials.
- Create and build bespoke tools, packing jigs, and test rigs for internal workshop use.
- Perform planned maintenance on key equipment, including valves, regulators, and gas boosters.
- Conduct reactive maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve faults, minimising downtime.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes across departments.
- Provide technical assistance to MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) teams.
- Support all group companies with technical and engineering expertise.
- Fault-find on pneumatic and hydraulic test rigs.
- Deliver training on new systems and equipment to technicians.
- Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to technical challenges.
- Ensure safety and integrity by questioning processes and suggesting improvements.
- A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical or engineering role.
- A strong understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Experience working in a workshop environment.
- Knowledge of engineering processes and principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work autonomously or in a team.
- Experience using CAD software.
- Knowledge of oxygen systems or experience in a similar field.
