Role responsibilities
- Leading and completing audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the audit and accounts team
- Managing client relationships, answering queries and providing practical advice
- Ensuring assignments are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality
- Collaborating with tax and advisory colleagues to deliver a joined-up client service
- Keeping up to date with technical knowledge and accounting standards

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of three years’ audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Confident leading audits and preparing statutory accounts
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Experience supervising junior staff and supporting their development
