Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Specialist to join the pastoral team of this amazing school. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments, and providing strategic input into school-wide behaviour policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualised Behaviour Support Plans.
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments.
- Collaborate with class teams and Behaviour and Pastoral Support Officers.
- Monitor and analyse whole-school behaviour using CPOMS.
- Develop and deliver behaviour intervention programs.
- Lead Maybo training sessions for staff.
- Support the transition of new students with behavioural needs.
- Attend and contribute to Education Health and Care Plan Annual Reviews and Child in Need Meetings.
Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in Functional Behaviour Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans.
- Strong knowledge of function-based intervention planning.
- Experience in SEN education or residential provision.
- Ability to present data effectively and train staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
