Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Specialist to join the pastoral team of this amazing school. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments, and providing strategic input into school-wide behaviour policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualised Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments.
  • Collaborate with class teams and Behaviour and Pastoral Support Officers.
  • Monitor and analyse whole-school behaviour using CPOMS.
  • Develop and deliver behaviour intervention programs.
  • Lead Maybo training sessions for staff.
  • Support the transition of new students with behavioural needs.
  • Attend and contribute to Education Health and Care Plan Annual Reviews and Child in Need Meetings.

Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in Functional Behaviour Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Strong knowledge of function-based intervention planning.
  • Experience in SEN education or residential provision.
  • Ability to present data effectively and train staff.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
