The role of Sales Engineer  will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Maintain and build strategic alliances with key end users- OEMs, ROSCOs, TOCs and Service Providers
  • Execute effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets
  • Review and prepare quotations, tenders and commercial enquires to secure sustainable growth in sales
  • Provide technical support to new and existing customers
  • Work within the team to formulate, drive and manage the development and execution of the Sales Strategy to attract and expand new and existing business
  • Prepare and participate in product presentations to customers and at exhibitions

We will be excited to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following skills for this Sales Engineer role:

  • Strong understanding of UK Rail Industry
  • Proven experience in Account Management or business development in the rail sector
  • Strong technical understanding of rail components, both mechanical and electrical
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of and experience in using solution selling skills and practices
  • Proven experience preparing commercial projects/bids/tenders
  • Ability to travel as required to meet and manage portfolio of clients
