Residential Sales Analyst – Housing – 3 Month Interim Contract – Hybrid – London – Start ASAP – £25.63 p/h PAYE or £32.02 p/h Umbrella (Inside IR35)

Reed Talent Professionals are supporting a reputable Housing Association in the search for a Residential Sales Analyst to join their expanding team.  This role is ideal for candidates with a solid track record in the residential sector, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale operation competing alongside major house builders.

Hybrid working between sites in Croydon and Camden.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Evaluate competitor sales and marketing activities, including pricing, product innovations, incentives, payment terms, key messaging, target markets, and resulting sales rates.
  • Visit, call, and liaise with competitors' developments to gather data on sales performance and current trends.
  • Analyse, interrogate, and report on collected data, collaborating with agents and colleagues to establish market trends and drivers.
  • Provide expertise and advice on different apartment and house types, development information, specifications, and buying procedures.
  • Compile and present detailed reports using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for formal presentations.
  • Present analysis and commentary to Sales Managers/Directors and Land and Partnership colleagues.
  • Prepare reports providing market assessment for internal governance papers such as Investment Committee and Gateway papers at various stages of the development process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the property market, specifically new homes housing market.
  • Experienced data analyst capable of handling data in a demanding environment.
  • Proven understanding of regional and national housing markets.
  • Strong ability to interpret data and provide evidence-based insights.
  • Excellent research, Excel, and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-wide software such as Molior, Rightmove, and the Office of National Statistics.
  • Ability to assist in informing management decisions linked to market and development opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide competitor analysis linked to pricing, sizes, layouts, mix, specification, and sales forecasts.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
