A growing employee -owned engineering consultancy is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Croydon. The role:
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading geotechnical design and analysis for major infrastructure projects, including foundations, retaining structures, embankments, slopes, and tunnels.
  • Conducting site investigations, soil and rock assessments, and geotechnical risk evaluations.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical reports, design calculations, and specifications.
  • Managing multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Providing technical oversight and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to develop strong professional relationships.
  • Supporting business development efforts, including writing proposals and securing new projects.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.
  • Representing the company at industry events and technical conferences.
