Geotechnical Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing, employee-owned consultancy with a strong presence across the UK. The Role:
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in the Civils/Structural team, working on a variety of structures including bridges, tunnels, stations, and buildings, using materials such as concrete, steel, timber, and masonry. With 70% of projects in the rail sector, experience in rail-related infrastructure is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing engineering design for large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Overseeing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Developing conceptual designs and producing engineering reports
  • Managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful delivery
  • Engaging with clients, securing new business, and driving innovation
  • Mentoring and supporting senior engineers
  • Representing the company at industry events and contributing to technical publications
