Lloyd Recruitment Services has a fantastic job opportunity for a Repair Engineer to join a market leading company based in Croydon. As the Repair Engineer, you will be working closely with the Branch Manager and the team of fitters, focusing on repairing parts and products primarily at residential properties in Surrey and Southwest London.What's in it for you:

Responsibilities of the Repair Engineer:

  • Attending the homes of customers to identify mechanical/electrical issues and determine the necessary repairs
  • Diagnosing problems with faulty mechanisms
  • Installing new parts as needed
  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety standards
  • Providing an excellent level of service to customers, including explaining repair options, answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Maintaining accurate records of repairs and installations
  • Liaising with leading manufacturers

Essential Skills:

  • Practical manual skills
  • Clean driving licence
  • Ability to work alone and in a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Friendly and presentable
  • Professional manner

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working within the construction industry
  • Have own hand and power tools
