Job title: Commercial Account Handler
Salary: £35,000
Location: Based in Croydon office - onsite for 3 days per week on average.
Purpose of role:
Our client is currently searching for a commercial account handler to support the team in managing clients' insurance requirements, including addressing general inquiries, managing renewals, facilitating mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotes, and handling premium invoicing. With a blend of tasks to add diversity to your week, there will also be chances to participate in new business activities. Experience:
- Proficient understanding of the primary classes of General Insurance and familiarity with the CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with commercial products.
- While new business experience is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
- Interest in music would enhance comprehension of the role, particularly in dealing with cover notes, but it is not a prerequisite as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Responsible for personal development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge through e-learning, in-house courses, and pursuing professional qualifications to accrue required CPD points.

- Proficiency in technical insurance skills, evaluated through regular in-house assessments.

Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Cert CII (desirable for this role).
