We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Technician to join their dynamic team. In this vital role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
LOCATION - Croydon Concrete Plant
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Technical Manager your main duties will include:
* Product sampling from customer sites and production units.
* Testing for product quality and conformity.
* Sampling of raw materials.
* Notifying customers where non conformities are observed at the time of discharge.
* Providing feedback to production units.
* Assisting in minor complaint investigation.
* Maintain PPE, testing equipment and van cleanliness in accordance with requirements.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
* Full UK Driving License essential.
*Knowledge of concrete or the construction industry preferred but not essential.
Excellent salary and company packgage avaialble to be discussed during application.
Salary is £27,000.
The role comes with a company ’VW Caddy’ style van with the option for private use.
37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 7:30-4:00. Hours of work may vary according to daily production.
