We are seeking an Operations Manager with a strong background in the Construction sector to oversee and ensure the smooth running of the daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that all operations are carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee the execution of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other construction professionals to align on project objectives and progress.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the organisation.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations on all construction sites.
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers.
- Analyse operational data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes.
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role within the Construction sector.
- Strong understanding of construction operations and management principles.
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
- Ability to work early hours, with a schedule of 06:30-16:00, Monday to Friday.
