They are seeking an experienced and professional Asbestos Contracts Manager, to oversee their busy portfolio of Removals clients. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a proven track record within the industry and excellent client-facing skills. Applicants will need to be based around: Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Sidcup, Sevenoaks, Caterham, Redhill, Dartford, Erith, Maidstone, Woking, Weybridge, Guildford, Crowthorne, Bracknell, Camberley, Mitcham, Epsom, Twickenham, Walton-on-Thames, Slough, Windsor, Wembley, Southall, Harrow, Kingston upon Thames, Staines-upon-Thames.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have a successful track record managing key Asbestos Removal client contracts
- Well-versed in industry guidelines and procedures
- Ideally will hold industry-relevant training and qualifications, including: ARCA / UKATA
- Experienced in handling projects and teams of varying size
- It would be beneficial to hold SSSTS / SMSTS, but it is not essential
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Comfortable using IT software, such as the Microsoft Office suite
The Role:
- You will be managing the successful delivery of Licensed and Non-Licensed Asbestos Removals projects, ensuring they run to agreed timelines and budgets
- Overseeing teams on-site, ensuring they work efficiently and remain compliant and work safely
- Pricing up for projects and producing detailed quotations and plans for clients
- Attending sites to complete risk assessments and ensure sites are ready for works to commence
- Meeting with clients to outline project requirements and discuss any technical / logistical issues
- Maintaining and nurturing strong working relationships with clients and site staff, to assure smooth running of projects
- Handling the on-boarding of new clients, and developing further business leads and opportunities
- Highlighting any areas for training within the teams of site operatives and delivering training / toolbox talks as required
