We’re pleased to be working with a highly reputable large format print business based in South London, they offer exceptional service to their client base providing affordable print solutions within POS, hoarding, retail graphics, interior and exterior signage, and much more.

Within the role your primary responsibility will be to run their EFI Vutek press equipment to produce a wide range of large-format products, including banners, signs, displays, and more. You’ll work closely with the design and wider production team to ensure that all jobs meet the highest standards of quality and are completed on time.

The role is currently working on a day shift but in future this may change to double days due to volume of work, so some flexibility around this is required.

The Role

• Prepare, load, and manage print jobs according to client specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of print equipment.
• Inspect printed products for quality control and ensure colour accuracy.
• Occasionally assist on the Zund cutter as well as in collating and preparation of items for dispatch.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure efficient workflow.
• Manage stock levels of print media and supplies.

The Person

• Proven experience operating an EFI Vutek press or other similar large format printing equipment.
• Strong understanding of large format printing processes (and ideally finishing techniques / use of a Zund).
• Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of colour management and calibration processes.
• Familiarity with RIP software and file preparation (knowledge of Fiery is a plus).
• Ability to lift and handle large rolls of media.

Salary & Benefits

Based on experience this role is paying up to £35,000. For someone technically adept on the machinery who can undertake general repairs/maintenance etc this could be further negotiable.
