Tradewind Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity for an Early Years Teacher at a dynamic and inclusive 2-form entry school in the borough of Croydon. This welcoming London-based primary school is seeking a passionate and qualified teacher to cover a Year 1 class for the remainder of the academic year. Starting early in the school year, the role will involve some lesson planning responsibilities.
About the Role:- Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Early Years and KS1
- Foster a nurturing and positive learning environment for young children
- Work closely with the Classroom TA to ensure lessons are differentiated and meet individual needs
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support children's development
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and collaborate with colleagues to contribute to school improvement
- UK-recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Strong understanding of Early Years and KS1 curriculum
- A positive, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young learners
- Commitment to contributing to the school's inclusive ethos
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
- Must be available full-time and long-term from October
- 2-form entry school rated 'Good' by Ofsted
