Teaching Assistants, Croydon

Empowering Learning Ltd are recruiting Teaching Assistants who are looking to work on a long-term full-time positions, in our SEND/Autism Schools in Croydon. We have a high need of classroom support across Primary and Secondary age ranges, to start immediately depending on safeguarding checks.

We are seeking enthusiastic, proactive and hands on practitioners that can take direction, that have a dynamic approach and works effectively with both Mainstream students, and those with additional learning difficulties.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Recent classroom experience in a Primary, Secondary or Autism and SLD settings
  • Experience supporting individuals in other sectors (Support Work, Care etc.)
  • Passion and desire to work in either Mainstream or SEND learning environments
  • Initiative, willingness and hands on approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Live within a fair commute to the school
