Role Overview:We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a mainstream secondary school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a positive impact on students' learning and development, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting student learning.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with SEN.
- Help create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support students' emotional and behavioural needs to encourage a positive attitude towards learning.
- Assist with classroom management and preparation of learning resources.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of SEN and strategies for supporting diverse learners.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) are advantageous.
