SEND Assessment Coordinator 

We are seeking to appoint a SEND Assessments Coordinator to empower student success through targeted support and access arrangements. The successful candidate will  empower student success through targeted support and access arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the implementation of Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and assessment protocols.
  • Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support students' needs effectively.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on SEND policies and best practices.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • JCQ Level 7 approved qualification in Access Arrangements.
  • Proven experience as an EAA Coordinator.
  • Familiarity with JCQ regulations and assessment tools.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

 - Relevant degree or qualification in education or special educational needs.
