Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Development Underwriter with expertise in Property Owners to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwriting and a deep understanding of property owners underwriting processes. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse and evaluate property owners insurance risks to determine potential profitability
  • Underwrite new and renewal property owners business within designated authority levels
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with brokers and clients
  • Engaging with brokers and clients to gather necessary information for underwriting
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure underwriting guidelines are followed
  • Monitor industry trends and market developments to make informed underwriting decisions
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and brokers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of underwriting experience with a focus on property owners
  • Strong knowledge of property owners underwriting guidelines and practices
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities
  • Cert CII preferred but not a requirement
