About the Role:

We are currently working with a top 30, growing accountancy practice in the UK. They are business advisor's and accountants with over 30 years experience.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Manager, in our clients Croydon office. Our client values work life balance and welcome applicants who seek a 4 day work week or other flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for a proactive and positive individual who can bring a wealth of knowledge and experience into the team. The role will focus on managing a portfolio of mixed clients while ensuring exceptional service delivery, and helping manage the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients while ensuring excellent client service
  • Assisting in the management of the office and supporting junior team members
  • Creating and improving process notes to assist with efficient bookkeeping and accounts preparation by other team members
  • Reviewing year-end accounts for limited companies
  • Supporting the team with workflow management and technology solutions
  • Reviewing VAT returns and preparing management accounts
  • Providing ad-hoc support to clients and the Partner

About You:

  • ACA or ACCA
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
  • Accountancy practice experience
  • Experience using Fathom
