Finance Manager | South London | Hybrid/Flexible | 37 hours per week/full-time | 8 evening meetings per year | £45,000 - £47,000

What will your role look like?

  • Responsible for the finance department including accounting functions, rent and departmental developments
  • Ensuring statutory and compliance obligations are met, including statutory accounting and tax issues
  • Ensuring adherence and development of Finance Policies and Procedures
  • Planning and coordinating payments
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Producing Month end and Year End Accounts
  • Supervising and developing the finance team
  • Developing credit control strategies
  • Managing cash flow to ensure sufficient working capital
  • Handling grants and other funding including restricted funds
  • Collaborating with the CEO to set budgets and financial goals and targets, and working with senior managers to achieve these
  • Offering insights on the financial performance and health of the organisation
  • Collaborating with other teams to identify cost reduction, revenue generating, and process improvement opportunities
  • Assisting the CEO in developing financial and pricing models
  • Identifying financial risks and proposing mitigation measures
