Established in 1981, CAYSH is both a charity and not-for-profit organisation, that specialises in helping to reduce the homelessness of young people and vulnerable adults.

What will your role look like?
- Responsible for the finance department including accounting functions, rent and departmental developments
- Ensuring statutory and compliance obligations are met, including statutory accounting and tax issues
- Ensuring adherence and development of Finance Policies and Procedures
- Planning and coordinating payments
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Producing Month end and Year End Accounts
- Supervising and developing the finance team
- Developing credit control strategies
- Managing cash flow to ensure sufficient working capital
- Handling grants and other funding including restricted funds
- Collaborating with the CEO to set budgets and financial goals and targets, and working with senior managers to achieve these
- Offering insights on the financial performance and health of the organisation
- Collaborating with other teams to identify cost reduction, revenue generating, and process improvement opportunities
- Assisting the CEO in developing financial and pricing models
- Identifying financial risks and proposing mitigation measures
