Are you a keen business development orientated IFA? Are you keen to win new business and earn well from it? A key client of mine who I have met and worked very closely with over the past 3 years are an award winning Chartered IFA business with a very ethical and values driven culture and ethos. I have placed 5 staff into the business, and they are looking to expand their team with a brand-new Financial Adviser. The business has been operating for many years and has built an outstanding reputation for providing holistic financial planning services to families, retirees and some City professionals. Many of their cases fall into the UHNW category and receives a bespoke investment proposition. They pride themselves on offer the highest quality service to clients and generate new business through recommendation and referral. They offer advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, protections, and esoteric investment schemes such as VCT/EIS/SEIS.

A new venture within the business has been set up following an acquisition. The Directors have acquired a business who administers Group Personal Pension schemes for close to 20,000 members. Research and analysis has indicated that a substantial number of these members do not take holistic financial advice and would like to speak to an Adviser and several hundreds have very considerable wealth and would engage with a Financial Adviser.

A role has been created for a suitably qualified Adviser who can engage with these prospective clients with the support of a Business Development Manager and tap into their wider network and build up a network of business and contacts. These clients have pensions in the range of £50k - £500k but they will have other assets too which need managing. Client meetings will be held in the office in Croydon or virtually and you will be supported by administrators and paraplanners. You will get support from a Business Development professional who will approach these clients on your behalf and then you offer the advice to those who engage.
