The Role - Behaviour Mentor

We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join a fast paced SEMH School to support the schools most challenging student's students on a 1:1 basis in a class of 7 students. For this Behaviour Mentor role you must have at least 1 years experience working with challenging behaviour, this does not have to be in the school setting. To be a suitable Behaviour Mentor you must have a calm and confident approach and have the vision to see the best in every child.

The School - Behaviour Mentor

This SEMH School is a school for boys aged 9-16 who have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and is located in the area of Croydon. Staff to student ratios are favourable and support our students to achieve well. This SEMH School adopts a therapeutic approach, allied to the nurture principles, to create a safe and supportive environment where pupils can and do achieve. Pupils follow a personalised programme of study, allied to the national curriculum, that takes into account their strengths and passions and presents their learning in a meaningful, accessible and engaging way. The school works in close partnership with families, the local community and wider stake holders to provide pupils with the holistic support they need to achieve.
