Are you a CAD Technician looking for the next step in your career?

Blueprint Recruitment would like to talk to you regarding a new opportunity with a well-established client. We are seeking someone with excellent knowledge and skills in this role to join our client in a permanent position. The successful candidate will work full time from the clients office in London, and will also be required to partake in site visits when necessary.

Our client is a leading provider of engineering support services, specialising in bespoke solutions across the MEP sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

-Producing high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings for engineering projects.

-Collaborating with engineers and project teams to interpret technical specifications.

-Updating and maintaining drawing registers and document control systems.

-Supporting site surveys and the integration of survey data into design work.

-Ensuring all drawings comply with industry and project standards.

-Assisting in the development and improvement of CAD procedures and templates.

Key Requirements:

-Proven experience in a CAD Technician or similar role.

-Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D desirable).

-Knowledge of engineering design practices within the process or manufacturing sectors.

-Experience working with P&IDs, general arrangements, layouts, and detailed fabrication drawings.

-Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

-Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

-HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering, Design, or a related discipline.
