They offer full aftermarket support to their customers by way of spare parts supply as well as repair and overhaul services at their local workshop or at the customer location via our highly skilled workshop and field service workforce.
We are seeking talented and experienced Fluidrive Engineers to join the team in a site-based, full-time permanent role. What Youll Be Doing:
- Creating and updating manufacturing drawings to industry standards (BS 8888).
- Ensuring all drawings are checked, approved, and uploaded into Team Centre.
- Maintaining the CAD system and technical documentation repository.
- Providing technical support to workshop staff and field service engineers.
- Evaluating and interpreting customer technical requests.
- Performing design modifications to existing products.
- Collaborating with UK and international customers, suppliers, and parent company in Germany.
- Supporting Sales Managers, Sales Admin, Purchasing, and Quality teams.
- Assisting in supplier qualification and approval processes.
- Taking ownership of Fluidrive technical-related NCRs.
What Were Looking For:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing and design.
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (HND minimum).
- Proficiency in AUTO-CAD, Siemens NX, and Team Centre.
- Strong knowledge of engineering change, document control, and BS 8888.
- Hands-on approach with a positive, adaptable, and proactive mindset.
- Understanding of non-ferrous metal casting processes and power transmission/rotating equipment.
- Commercial awareness to understand the impact of engineering decisions.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
- Ability to self-learn, problem-solve, and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent technical communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
