Job Description:

As an OHLE (Overhead Line Equipment) Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and installation of electrical systems for railway infrastructure in the Greater London area, specifically on the TRAMS network near Croydon. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the overhead lines that power trains.

Job Duties:
  • Inspect, test, and maintain overhead electrical lines
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults
  • Repair and replace damaged components
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams
Required Qualifications:
  • Relevant technical qualification in electrical engineering
  • Experience working with overhead line equipment
  • Knowledge of railway safety standards
Education:

Minimum OLEC 2 / OLEC 3

Experience:

At least 1 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of OHLE systems
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Health and Safety certification
  • Experience with specific OHLE equipment brands
Working Conditions:
