Are you an experienced and highly organised professional looking for an exciting opportunity to support senior leadership in a secondary school in Croydon? If so, we invite you to apply for the PA to Principal position.

As a key member of the administrative team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the Principal’s office and supporting the wider leadership team in delivering an outstanding education environment.

As a PA to the Principal, your responsibilities typically include:

  • Administrative Support: Deliver efficient and high-quality support to the Principal, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Diary and Event Management: Organise and manage the Principal’s schedule, coordinating key school events and meetings.
  • Communication and Correspondence: Handle confidential communications, draft reports, emails, and official documents, and act as a liaison between staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Data and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, reports, and data management systems in line with school policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, teaching staff, and administrative teams to support the efficient running of the school.
  • Deadline and Task Management: Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard within required timeframes.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least two years’ experience in a relevant administrative role, preferably within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally at all levels.
  • A proactive and professional approach, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative systems.
  • The ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
