We are currently seeking a Stock Condition Building Surveyor to join a Local Authority in South London. In this role, you will play a vital part in assessing council homes and other assets against the Decent Home Standard and Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake surveys of council homes and other assets, assessing them against the Decent Home Standard and HHSRS.
  • Produce detailed reports on remedial works required, drawing up costed schedules of works.
  • Utilise your expertise to assess properties against the Decent Home Standard and HHSRS, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough property surveys, diagnosing issues, and providing comprehensive reports on remedial works.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective planning and execution of necessary works.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on building condition assessments and related matters.
Experience Required:
  • Proven track record of carrying out detailed property surveys and producing reports on remedial works.
  • At least 4 years of proven experience undertaking housing stock condition surveys, including HHSRS surveys.
  • Extensive experience in carrying out and assessing full measured surveys, diagnosing issues, and producing detailed reports on remedial works, including costings.
