IQA Hair Technician
- Location: Croydon
- Job Type: Part-time, Temporary
- Hours per Week: 17.5 hours
- Working Days: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM
- Salary: £13-17ph
We are urgently seeking an IQA Hair Technician to join our team at a local college in Croydon. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our hairdressing courses, providing both technical support and quality assurance. T
Day-to-day of the role of a Hair Technician:
- Oversee the quality assurance processes within the hairdressing department.
- Ensure that all practices meet industry standards and enhance the learning experience for students.
- Provide technical support to both learners and staff in the hairdressing section.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment and materials for hairdressing courses.
- Monitor and report on student progress and equipment usage to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications required for the Hair Technician role:
- Proven experience as a Hair or in a similar role within educational settings.
- Revilant Risk Assessment experience,COSHH, manual handling. PAT testing qualification ( desirable )
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes related to vocational training.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant vocational qualifications in hairdressing or related fields.
