This pivotal role focuses on delivering exceptional administrative and operational support to a thriving educational environment. As a School Business Manager, you will oversee financial management, ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations, and optimise the school’s administrative processes.

Responsibilities of a School Business Manager:

  • Managing school budgets, procurement, and financial reporting.
  • Overseeing day-to-day administrative operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding standards.
  • Supporting HR tasks, including payroll and recruitment processes.
  • Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications for a School Business Manager:

  • Proven experience in school administrative and operational support.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget handling.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for administrative tasks.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
