If so, our client has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand new 4-bed EBD Ofsted Regulated Children's Home in the heart of South Croydon. As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage staff and home resources.
  • Ensure high standards of service and exceed regulatory standards.
  • Manage the budget and ensure the business remains viable.
  • Meet and exceed key performance indicators for people, quality, and performance.
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate resilience and professionalism in challenging situations.

  • Full-time position with an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
The ideal Registered Manager will:

  • Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Have at least two years of supervisory experience within a childrens home.
  • Possess strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Be committed to providing high-quality, child-centred care.
  • Have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.
  • Be flexible with core hours of 9-5, Monday to Friday, and willing to meet service requirements.
  • Have additional qualifications in areas such as first aid, therapeutic interventions, or mental health support (desirable).
  • Possess IT competency for record-keeping, reporting, and communication (desirable).
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence (desirable).
