Contracts Cleaning SupervisorCroydon£33,280 Full-Time Permanent

Mon-Fri 8:45am-5:15pm (includes a 30-minute unpaid rest break)Some weekend working when required (on call or physical presence), overtime paid at enhanced rateOur client needs a skilled Contracts Supervisor to ensure operational activities are undertaken to the contract specification. You will seek to deliver peak performance in terms of quality, quantity of work and health & safety requirements. You will also be responsible for supervision and monitoring of the cleaning staff to ensure that all tasks are delivered to a high standard and to the required schedule. Essentials:• Full, clean driving licence• Minimum 2 years’ cleaning experience and 3 years’ supervisory experience• IT skills to include a sound knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel• Ability to create comprehensive written reports• High standard of personal presentation and professionalism• Good interpersonal skills• English language skills, arithmetic, and general administration• Ability to remain calm when under pressure• Able to organise own working time to maximum potential• Friendly, open approach and proactive response to customers and staff needs• Ability to learn all aspects of service operationsKey Responsibilities:• Planned, general inspections carried out on day-to-day activities, taking corrective action where necessary with guidance from business manager.• Maintenance of stock requirements and monitor stock usage and the co-ordination of deliveries and collections.• Arrange work schedules, monitoring staff time keeping and attendance.• Manage and action, day-to-day telephone calls, enquiries, messages and complaints.• Monitor cleaning duties of all staff in line with the contract specification.• Liaise with the Business manager with regards to refresher and new starter training sessions, with internal training records monitored and maintained.• Carry out regular team briefings with all staff.• Assist in the recruitment and selection process for potential new employees.• Liaise with Business Manager regarding any incident, accident or unusual occurrence. • Ensure the accurate completion of all contract administration.• Completion of vehicle, plant and equipment check sheets, immediately reporting any vehicle defects to the business manager• Report to the business manager any maintenance and safety hazards, electrical and any other faults as they occur. • Report to the business manager regarding any client or client staff feedback

General Premises Management to include:• Ensure the security of premises, plant, equipment, and machinery at all times.• Good housekeeping.• Co-ordination of deliveries.• Ensure adherence to specific site rules and regulations.
