A local authority requires an experienced Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM Tech Support Analyst to play a crucial role in both the Council’s Oracle Cloud Implementation and Oracle Support Teams. The role focuses on enhancing the Oracle Cloud Fusion system, ensuring alignment with project management best practices to deliver improvements within scope, time, and cost constraints.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide expert support and maintenance for Oracle Cloud Fusion modules, contributing to system improvement initiatives.
  • Manage configuration and resolve complex application issues, collaborating with users and external suppliers as needed.
  • Lead module-specific Oracle development projects and support business teams in application project execution.
  • Recommend and implement system and business process improvements.
  • Analyse user processes, creating data and process flow diagrams, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Liaise with third-party ICT partners and suppliers for module-specific enhancements.
  • Develop documentation and procedures for application support and manage testing of system improvements and releases.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expertise in Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM modules including Recruitment Cloud, Talent, Learn and Perform, HR Core, Absence Management, Payroll, OTL.
  • Strong understanding of systems analysis, development, and reporting tools like OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Knowledge of data governance, including GDPR and data security.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Simplify complex technical issues for non-technical audiences.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, promoting continual improvement and innovation.
  • Make informed decisions, balancing risks and benefits under pressure.
  • Efficiently manage time, resources, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Extensive experience in functional support, testing, and user needs analysis for Oracle Cloud Fusion.
  • Proven track record in process mapping and documentation.
