IT Helpdesk - Nights 9PM - 4AM Sunday to Thursday

Excellent opportunity for someone with either some previous IT Support experience or relevant A level or above IT education, willing to work nights, to get IT Helpdesk experience on their CV.

You must be set-up for home working at night, with a suitable quiet environment and reliable broadband connection.

Our client is doing a project overnight for a large retail chain and requires and additional 4x helpdesk staff to respond to support calls and to remotely monitor the IT and EPOS equipment in the clients shops.

You will undertake basic fault resolutions where possible and escalate more complex issues to the 2nd line support team and field engineers.

You will be trained initially for 3 days on the helpdesk system, this will be in the office (you must be willing to travel to the training in person and potentially stay overnight depending on your location) then the support work will be all remote working from home.

To apply for this role you must:

  • be available to start on Monday 21st October and for work until end of November (initial 5 weeks contract, likely to roll on).
  • be happy to work nights 21:00 - 04:00 35 hours, Sunday to Thursday.
  • be willing to accept £11.44 per hour.
  • have a suitable "working from home" set-up (company laptop will be provided).
  • be able to pass a DBS check (criminal records check, as dealing with payment solutions).
