Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London-based housing association who are seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join their team on an initial 3 month contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.ROLE: Housing Litigation LawyerLOCATION: South LondonRATE: £34.77 to £38.28 per hour LTDCONTRACT: 3 months, 35 hours per weekPlease note that this role would be hybrid working.The Role

  • To manage a caseload of matters in relation to housing management, landlord and tenant and other contentious litigation matters
  • Caseload would consist of disrepair, tenancy management possession claims, ASB and landlord & tenant matters
  • To draft legal proceedings, witness statements and pleadings

The Person

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a current practising certificate
  • Experience of working within the public sector (e.g. Housing Association, local authority)
  • Strong technical understanding of housing litigation cases
