New urgent role working with a major UK residential developer as a Site Manager to oversee external roofing packages on a new build residential development.
Applicants must have experience working on volume build RC frame residential developments and ideally come from a carpentry trade background
This role will interview/start asap.
Duties:
- Leading the roofing package execution, ensuring a smooth and efficient construction process.
- Managing budgets, schedules, and resources, delivering on time and within budget while maintaining high quality.
- Overseeing roofing contractors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring adherence to specifications and quality control.
- Ensuring strict adherence to building regulations and safety procedures, creating a safe work environment.
- Proactively managing risks, implementing solutions to minimise delays and ensure project success.
- Reporting project progress and key decisions, ensuring transparency.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Site Manager on new-build residential projects, particularly with roofing packages.
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid tickets
- Strong understanding of construction processes, technical specifications, and building regulations relevant to roofing.
- A strong background in carpentry, ideally with experience in roof construction.
- Proven leadership and team motivation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
