About This Opportunity

We have an exciting temprary assignment for an experienced HR professional to join the central HR team of a multi-academy trust as an HR Business Partner. This position involves delivering high-quality strategic and operational support, driving organisational growth through HR strategy, and providing comprehensive HR support to leadership teams.

The ideal candidate should be CIPD qualified with significant experience in senior human resources or employee relations roles within complex organisations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing an HR Plan, advising on employee relations and employment law, supporting TUPE transfers and restructuring, managing employment tribunal cases, and working with Trade Unions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an HR Plan with the Head of HR.

  • Advise on performance management, appraisal cycles, disciplinary actions, and salary reviews.

  • Coach and support senior leaders on people management practices.

  • Manage employment tribunal cases and draft settlement agreements.

  • Design and deliver workshops for line managers and HR representatives.

  • Collaborate with outsourcing providers for payroll and benefits administration.

Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of Employment Law.

  • Proven experience in HR Business Partner roles and managing Employee Relations.

A current Enhanced (Child only) DBS would be a distinct advantage.
